The International Propeller Club of the United States (IPC) has committees to assist in meeting the goals of the IPC and its chartered ports. Each committee will be given specific goals. Recommendations made by the Committee shall be submitted to the Board for approval.

The President shall be a member ex-officio of all committees. The Executive Vice President or Associate Executive Director shall be an ex-officio member of each standing committee. A Board liaison will be appointed to each committee as an ex-officio member of each standing committee. The Board liaison may also serve as a committee chair. All other members will be members of IPC.

Every committee shall have a chair appointed by the President. The role of the chair is to select committee members, guide the committee to accomplish their goals through assigning tasks, planning and leading meetings and monitor the group’s progress. The chair shall act as the liaison between the committee, the Board liaison and the staff liaisons. Every Chair will complete a quarterly report to be given to the Board and staff liaisons as a progress report or recommendations to be made to the Board of Directors.
